How do I connect my Tesla account?
On first launch, ChargeBooks redirects you to the Tesla login page. Sign in with your usual Tesla credentials. ChargeBooks only accesses your charging data — never vehicle controls.
What data is collected?
Only your Tesla email, charging history (dates, locations, amounts) and associated PDF invoices. No real-time GPS data, no vehicle commands.
How do I export my invoices?
Go to the Exports tab, select the period, then choose the format (CSV, PDF or ZIP). You can also send the export directly to your accountant by email.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open your iPhone Settings > your name > Subscriptions > ChargeBooks > Cancel Subscription. You keep access until the end of the current period.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Settings > Delete my account. All your data will be erased within 72 hours.
Are the amounts reliable for my accounting?
Amounts come directly from the Tesla API and match your official invoices. ChargeBooks displays them as-is. Consult your accountant for any tax questions.
Does ChargeBooks work with non-Tesla chargers?
Currently, ChargeBooks only retrieves charges made on the Tesla network (Superchargers and destination chargers).
